Banig Restaurant is a straightforward Filipino eatery located on Alessandro Boulevard in Moreno Valley, serving breakfast and lunch with a focus on traditional home-style dishes. The atmosphere is casual and no-frills, making it a place where the food and portions take center stage rather than fancy decor or formal dining. It’s the kind of spot where families and locals come with appetites for familiar flavors that evoke Filipino comfort and nostalgia.

The menu leans into classic Filipino staples such as Lechon Kawali, Pork Adobo, Beef Kaldereta, and Chicken Afritada, along with specialties like Sisig Bowls and the well-loved bangus (deep-fried milkfish). For those craving something sweet and refreshing after a hearty meal, the Halo-Halo offers a taste of Filipino dessert tradition. Some newer items like Adobo fries and a Matcha latte suggest the kitchen is open to playful updates while holding close to the cuisine’s roots.

Visits here tend to feel relaxed and unhurried, fitting the breakfast-to-lunch schedule that draws in a mixed crowd of families looking for a shared meal and solo diners wanting a straightforward, satisfying plate. The food arrives fresh and served in generous portions, which fits well with the friendly, approachable vibe Banig cultivates. It’s not a spot for late-night dining or elaborate outings, but rather a reliable destination for weekday mornings or weekends when locals crave the tastes of home.

Those who appreciate a genuine taste of Filipino cuisine, especially in a casual setting without the fuss, will find Banig Restaurant a welcoming spot. Its location in Moreno Valley provides a neighborhood feel, where the emphasis is on authenticity and familiarity rather than trendiness. If you’re after robust flavors, sizable servings, and a welcoming environment, Banig is a practical choice to experience Filipino favorites in this part of Southern California.

All of the favorites of home. We are so lucky and proud of Banig’s. Arrived on a Sunday morning and all of the food we enjoyed was at a constant freshness.

The beef stew was very good and the consumes. The noodles had no flavor, it needs spices. The rolls were decent, I would come back here again.

Amazing Filipino food! Authentic and well priced. Great portions and great service. They’ve added a few new things to the menu, like Adobo fries and a Matcha latte, that you have to try. Highly recommended!

Every bite reminds me of a well prepared and dishes that are savory and excellent to the taste of Pilipino people and others. I ordered the Party bundle with Litson. It was awesome. My family and guests enjoyed it. Thumbs up . I highly recommend. Thank You.

Banig has been serving up Filipino food in Moreno Valley for decades and the food is one of the reasons why this long-standing casual eatery is still in existence today. This family-owned business is a small to midsize restaurant with plenty of seating and about a dozen tables. Note: Larger parties can move tables together to create a single, larger table. They have a small television with The Filipino Channel (TFC) playing in the background. The food is served cafeteria style. Basically, you walk up to the display of food and point to a dish you’d like. It’s called turo-turo, which literally translates to point-point. There is no visible menu so if you’re new to this establishment, you can ask what each dish is. They do have their staple breakfast and lunch items that are available all day: * Longanisa (Sweet Sausage) * Beef Tapa * Garlic Rice * Pancit (Canton-Bihon Mixed Noodles) * Pork Adobo * Bangus (Milk Fish) * Beef Caldereta (Tomato-Based Stew) * Lumpia (Egg Rolls) * Lechon Kawali (Fried Pork Belly) * Sisig * Dinuguan (Pork Blood Stew) * Giniling / Picadillo (Ground Meat) * Binagoongan na Talong (Eggplant with Fermented Pork) * Pinakbet (Vegetables with Fermented Shrimp) * Balatong / Mungo (Lentil Soup) * Sinigang (Tamarind Soup) * Palabok (Rice Noodles with Gravy) … and much more My favorites are the Lumpia, Sisig, and Lechon Kawali. They make the best Lechon Kawali I’ve had from any Filipino restaurant ever! Come check them out. Friendly service and smiles, and delicious food!

Omg pork belly!! It was so crispy and delicious especially with the vinegar sauce. The pork Adobe was also delicious especially with the garlic rice and if course the lumpia and breakfast sausage were also amazing !! I can't say enough good things about this place. This kid that works at the counter i think his name is Ezekiel... God bless him and his family he is one of the most kindest sweetest teenagers I've ever seen. You'll definitely feel like family when you come here. My only complaint is that I wish they were open longer they close at 2pm usually
